Morissette Amon, who was recently tapped to give her own local rendition of the classic A Whole New World with Darren Espanto, just got to live out the dream of any Disney Princess fan. Walt Disney Studios Philippines flew her out to Japan to meet Will Smith and the legendary Alan Menken in the flesh.

Will Smith is, of course, playing Genie in the live-action remake of Aladdin while Alan Menken is the man responsible for making our childhoods so memorable. He is the composer behind favorites like The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, and obviously, Aladdin. Morisette, who had grown up listening to the Disney tunes, was honored beyond words to have met them both.

Not only did she get to meet them, but she was also able to perform with and for them! Morisette actually got to sing the Academy Award-winning duet, A Whole New World, with Alan Menken himself. Will Smith watched on in appreciation of her ‘lovely voice’ as he called it.
