Miss USA Olivia Jordan endeared herself to millions of Filipinos when she graciously accepted her defeat at the 2015 Miss Universe pageant, where Miss Philippines Pia Wurtzbach took home the crown. Jordan posted on Facebook: “I have no doubt Pia Wurtzbach will represent us all with class and grace and be absolutely incredible this year and beyond. So for all 79 contestants that I’m sure other big things are in store for, I look forward to seeing what our futures will hold.”
So when she was one of the judges at the 2016 Binibining Pilipinas pageant, where six winners will represent the country in six international pageants, she was warmly received by Filipinos.
Jordan even posted a short video on the Miss USA Facebook page about her visit here.
In the video, she said, “Everyone has been so nice here, it’s really incredible. Since Pia won Miss Universe, I had so much support myself, it’s just an honor to be welcomed into this country.”
Jordan also commented on the weather, and tried a popular favorite: melon juice!
On Facebook, she captioned the video with: “Here’s bits and pieces of some of my adventures in the #Philippines. Did I mention that I loved every second of it? Can I go back soon?”
