After the meteoric rise of the show RuPaul’s Drag Race, Filipino drag fans have yearned for our own version of Drag Race. While there’s still no word of a local franchise, the Philippine drag race scene is very much alive, with seasoned and baby artists putting out countless lewks, shows, and projects.

Drag Playhouse PH, a network of drag talents and producers that bring local drag content, partnered with Sony Music Philippines for a music video featuring nine of the most sought-after and talented drag artists in Manila.

Manila Drag Icons is a pride anthem megamix featuring songs from different generations that have become themes of empowerment and freedom by the LGBT community. The video is a perfect fusion of high drag fashion, entertainment, and music.
