One of the TV show’s we’re looking out for is the small-screen Netflix adaptation of A Series of Unfortunate Events, the series of 13 novels by Lemony Snicket of the same name. In 2004, the series was adapted to film starring Jim Carrey and Meryl Streep. Netflix has just released another teaser trailer, this time showing Neil Patrick Harris as the dreaded Count Olaf!
The show will consist of eight episodes, but it isn’t clear if they will adapt the entire series of books. Its executive producer is Daniel Handler, the author of the series.
A Series of Unfortunate Events follows the orphaned Baudelaire siblings, who are adopted by the evil Count Olaf.
The show will be released on January 13, 2017.
