Have you ever loved a movie so much that you wanted to transform yourself into one of its characters? You may answer that you have taken style tips or inspiration from real-life actors playing fictional characters, but no one has taken imitation to such great (or deep) heights as Chrisspy, a Los Angeles-based YouTube makeup artist who recently transformed herself into Dory of Finding Dory.
The #makeuptransformation is so accurate that Chrisspy herself admitted that she looked “really creepy.”
To transform herself into Dory, she used a bald cap, makeup, some paint, paper printouts, and precise hands.

According to Disney Pixar UK’s YouTube channel, “Finding Dory reunites everyone’s favorite forgetful blue tang, Dory, with her friends Nemo and Marlin on a search for answers about her past. What can she remember? Who are her parents? And where did she learn to speak Whale?”
Its prequel, Finding Nemo, received wide acclaim, winning the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature. Rotten Tomatoes gave it a 99% approval rating, saying “Breathtaking animation, talented vocal work, and a well-written screenplay add up to another Pixar success.”
