Singer and host Karylle is thrilled to collaborate with YouTube sensation Sam Tsui. Interestingly, the duo covered a song by Sponge Cola, a band led by her husband, Yael Yuzon.
Together, they sang “Kay Tagal Kitang Hinintay,” marking the American Tsui’s first cover in Filipino.

Tsui said on Instagram, “Show in Manila on 25 Nov! SM Skydome -get your tickets in advance or at the door! To celebrate I teamed up with the incredible @anakarylle to sing my Tagalog debut!!”

Karylle responded to the post, saying “so thrilled i worked with you on my 1st youtube collab. you are soooo talented. but more than that i super dooper admire how you work…you did so much.sing, arrange, record, mix? (did u mix it too), edit! woooowwww!the @sponge_cola boys love the cover?”
Tsui is known for his covers of artists like Adele, Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Justin Timberlake, and Bruno Mars. He also has original songs.
The singer was in Manila on November 25 for a concert.
