It’s not every day that you can get an opportunity to talk to a Hollywood star, but local celebrity Angelica Panganiban found herself speaking face to face with one during an Instagram live video call!
The chat happened with actor-singer Jared Leto who invited followers from all over the world to discuss their personal experiences amid the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Angelica was one of the several who got to speak with him live through the video call.
“Where are you?” Jared asked her as soon as her video popped up.
“I’m from the Philippines,” Angelica answered. She shared that she placed herself under a self-quarantine after shooting a film in Dubai, referring to her upcoming movie “Love or Money” with Coco Martin.
“I’m glad to hear you’re safe and sound and at home, and I hope everything’s okay for you guys back there,” he told her.
He went on to compliment Angelica, saying that she had an “interesting voice” and that her “accent is hard to place.”
Clearly charmed by the remark, Angelica told Jared that it was “amazing” to get to talk to him. “It’s so surreal!” she gushed.
“It’s surreal to talk to you too,” Jared replied.

“Tell everybody in the Philippines that we love them and we miss them. It’s been a long time since we played a concert there. We love the country, and we’d love to come back,” he added, referring to his band 30 Seconds to Mars.
“We hope everybody stays at home, be good, protect yourself, and be safe.”
