WATCH: Japan’s Cat Island Made a Music Video For Ed Sheeran

Even Japan’s fluffy and furry cats can’t resist the charm of English singer-songwriter, Ed Sheeran.

Just recently, Ainoshima, a cat island in Japan, made a grand gesture as they invited the artist for a visit. Through this adorable and definitely irresistible music video, the cats showed how eager they are to wait for Ed to come to the island.

Lucky for these cats because Ed seems to be really fond of felines, too. By just taking a peek on his Instagram account, @teddysphotos, random snaps of his kitties can be seen. He even said on a previous post that Sundays are for cat pictures.

Read the cat island’s full letter below:

“Dear Mr. Ed Sheeran,

Did you know that there is a cat Island in Japan?
It’s called Ainoshima.
It’s a tiny, tiny island and the size can’t even be compared to Ireland!

The cats are care-free and full of life.

At times they fight and yet have so much love for one another.
They are enjoying life while being surrounded by the beautiful sea and mountains.

We would love for you to visit our island.

Over 100 cats are eagerly waiting for you!

P.S. The cats love their afternoon naps!

We recommend visiting the island during the mornings or evenings.”

Soooo, will Ed be visiting these cats soon? He has not confirmed yet but we’d sure love to see him take these cuties into his loving arms and kiss them under the light of a thousand stars.
