DENR Secretary Gina Lopez has been aggressive in pushing her stance towards mining and has denied a number of mining corporations their permits after inspection. There are a few mining companies that have passed and operated within the boundaries of the law.
In this video, Sec. Gina Lopez states her stance that she is pro-people and pro-common good. She also elaborates further on her stance at the end of the video, stating that “the quality of life of our people is non-negotiable.”
