Those who grew up in the 2000’s are probably familiar with Gilmore Girls, the comedy-drama TV series about the life and times of mother-daughter tandem Lorelai and Rory Gilmore. If you were a fan, we have great news: the Gilmore Girls girls are back with a new miniseries, and the trailer just launched!
The new miniseries will premiere on Netflix, and will be called Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life. It will pick up where the seventh season left off, and will be 90 minutes per episode. Yes, it’s as long as a full-length film.There will only be four episodes, and will be set in one of the four seasons. Better news: everyone is returning for the series!
Gilmore Girls stars Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel as Lorelai and Rory, and the popular series explores themes such as family, friendship, and romance. It became so popular that it was included in Time magazine’s “All-TIME 100 TV Shows” in 2007.
It ran from 2000 to 2007, with the show wrapping up its seventh season in 2007.
