WATCH: Foundation Donates Boats in Remote Villages to Help Kids Get to School

While many students don’t see the value or often take for granted their education, there are actual students in remote corners of the world (remote villages in the Philippines in this case) who, quite literally, go the extra mile just to get to school.

In this remote fishing village in Sorsogon, many students have to walk three hours to and from school everyday.

They have to hike and even cross rivers, sometimes causing injuries to some of them.
