We all know Emilia Clarke as Daenerys Targaryen, mother of dragons, on the hit HBO show Game of Thrones, so it’s hard to imagine the actress playing a nanny in 1950’s Italy for a horror movie. But that’s Clarke’s latest role in Voice From the Stone, and the trailer is out now!

Clarke stars as Verena, a young nurse who is hired to take care of Jakob, a young heir, after his mother died. The boy stopped speaking after the death and begins to act strange, and Verena is convinced that he is possessed by a spirit trapped in the castle’s walls.
Voice From the Stone is based on a 1997 novel by Silvio Raffo. The film was supposed to be directed by Hideo Nakata, the Japanese filmmaker behind the Ring movies, until it was passed on to Eric D. Howell.
The movie will be released on April 28, 2017.
