WATCH- Eddie Redmayne and Tom Hiddleston Star in Prehistoric Early Man

Ever wanted to see Eddie Redmayne and Tom Hiddleston in loincloths? That’s going to happen soon, well, sort of. Because the two will star in Early Man, a movie set in prehistoric times. The catch? It’s a stop motion animated movie and the actors will only lend their voices.

Watch the teaser trailer below:

Early Man follows Eddie Redmayne as Dug, a caveman who must lead his tribe against Tom Hiddleston as Lord Nooth. The teaser trailer above doesn’t reveal much: it shows Dug trying to hunt a rabbit, until his villagers distract him by making too much noise. Dug and the villagers soon realize that the rabbit is not your run off the mill bunny. It has fangs.

Besides Redmayne and Hiddleston, the movie will star Maisie Williams, Timothy Spall, Richard Ayoade and Johnny Vegas.

Early Man is directed by Nick Park and developed by Aardman Animations, an animation studio known for stop motion movies like Chicken Run, Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit, and Shaun the Sheep Movie. Fans of Wallace & Gromit are sure to have noticed that the fanged bunny in Early Man‘s trailer is a reference to the were-rabbit.

Early Man will be released on January 26, 2018 AD.
