Grammy-award winning artist Ed Sheeran turned 26 on Friday, February 17th, and because he is Ed Sheeran is possibly one of the most adorable celebrities we will ever know, he gave the gift on his special day. Not the other way around.
His birthday present for his fans? A brand new song. Plus a music video to go along with it! Although to be clear, the new track, titled “How Would You Feel (Paean)” according to Ed in his Twitter, is not his next single. “But is one of my favzzzzz,” the singer added.

Ed Sheeran just returned this January from a one year hiatus, and on his return dropped two singles back-to-back: Castle On a Hill and Shape of You. Both these singles are more upbeat, and so you might notice a change of pace in this new track–a classic Ed Sheeran ballad. Slow, rich, honest.
