The theater group has been releasing recordings of its past productions online in light of the lockdown but Adarna is definitely one play you cannot miss.

Based on the classic corrido, Adarna tells the story of three princes who embark on an epic adventure in search of the mythical adarna bird believed to be the key to curing their sick father. Among the three, it was the youngest, Don Juan, who becomes successful in bringing the bird back to their kingdom and eventually earns the ire of his brothers.

Find the full play on Dulaang UP’s official YouTube account. You can also watch its previously streamed productions, Ang Nawawalang Kapatid, Fathers & Sons, The Kundiman Party, and Ang Bagong Cristo there.

This initiative is for the benefit of “KALingain Ang Kapwa Fund” organized by UP Diliman’s College of Arts and Letters for the workers and employees of the college and of the Faculty Center.
