WATCH: Dancers Reinterpret “Bohemian Rhapsody” to Ballet

The Queen song “Bohemian Rhapsody” has been so ingrained in the Suicide Squad canon that it’s hard to imagine the song used in something other than chaos and mayhem. But that’s what the English National Ballet did when they reinterpreted the classic.

Lead principal Erina Takahashi and first soloist James Forbat added a touch of class by doing a routine to the song. It looks really good, except I was imagining Margot Robbie and Jared Leto doing the dance as Harley Quinn and the Joker.

“Bohemian Rhapsody” is one of the best-selling singles of all time after topping the charts in several countries when it was released in 1975. The song is a six-minute suite with an intro, a ballad segment, an operatic passage, a hard rock part, and a reflective coda. At the time, it was considered the most expensive single ever made.

Today, it lives on through karaoke, and recently, its inclusion in Suicide Squad.
