Angelica Panganiban is once again starring in a new movie soon with FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano star Coco Martin as her leading man.
No other details have been shared since it was announced last December 2019—until this week, that is!
Star Cinema finally unveiled the teaser of the long-anticipated film titled “Love or Money” a few days ago, in which we are introduced right away to Angelica and Coco’s characters drinking at a bar and having an emotional discussion on whether money or romance matters more.
“Ang sakit, sakit, sakit!” Angelica cries in the teaser as she pours herself another shot, with Coco listening attentively to her rants and offering advice.
“Hindi ka sinasaktan ng pera. At kapag nakuha mo na ang pera, iyo lang iyon,” she tells Coco, who then responds, “Kapag nakuha mo na ako, iyong iyo lang ako.”
Right then and there, Coco gets down on his knee and asks Angelica’s hand in marriage.
Angelica’s reply? “Balikan mo ako kapag mayaman ka na.”
The two were able to shoot some scenes in Dubai last year before the lockdown was enforced due to the ongoing pandemic. The film was supposed to premiere at the Metro Manila Summer Film Festival which was eventually postponed.
“Love or Money,” directed by Mae Cruz Alviar, will be streaming on KTX.ph, iWant TFC, TFC IPTV, Cignal PPV, and Sky Cable PPV beginning March 12.
