When ‘Extraction’ came out in April, it took the world by storm.
One particular group of boys from Nigeria liked the movie so much that they made a remake of the trailer – a low budget one, of course, but one that has attracted the attention of many of the people involved in the actual movie. In the remake, the boys recreated every single scene in the trailer with household items, like toy cars and rifles, and empty drinks.
Chris Hemsworth, who plays the lead role in the movie, actually shared the video on his Instagram account, and has garnered more than 3.3 million views as of writing. “Huge shoutout to these amazing young film makers @ikorodu_bois for recreating the ‘Extraction’ trailer shot for shot,” he says in his caption. “I think your version might be better than the original!”

Chris isn’t the only one amazed by it. Netflix has given the video attention, as well, and the Russo Brothers (who produced the movie), even invited them to the premiere of ‘Extraction 2’. (In case you didn’t know: yes, there is going to be another ‘Extraction’ movie. Read more about it here.)
