“I have loved Beauty and the Beast since I was about four years old.” Emma Watson, who plays Belle in the Disney live-action remake of Beauty and the Beast, shares her history with the beloved fairytale. Beauty and the Beast first came out back in 1991, as a classic Disney animated film. But now, 26 years later, the characters we all know and love are coming to life.
In this behind the scenes video from Disney, the main actors in the movie, Watson, Dan Stevens who play Beast, Josh Gad who play Lefou, and the film’s director, Bill Condon, talk about the passion, craft, and artistry that went into making this film. All to make it the perfect film everyone’s is expecting it to be. That sounds like a lot a pressure, that’s for sure, but basing from all the trailers, promos, and tidbits from the film we’ve all seen so far, it seems the odds are looking good.
