Fun fact: I grew up in Germany. As such, I find joy in watching German shows to practice my German and entertain myself at the same time. What I didn’t expect was to fall in love with a 13-year-old’s voice on The Voice Kids Germany after watching this video of Austro-Filipino Lukas Janisch singing Alicia Keys’ “Fallin'” while playing the piano. Seriously. This is one video you need to watch:
I need to point out that I’m not posting this because he’s half-Filipino, but because he is actually downright amazing. Like the judges, I was floored!!! In fact, he was so good, the audience and the judges (Lena Meyer-Landrut, Sasha Alexander and Mark Forster) all asked him for an encore after his performance.
