It seems that Adventure Time’s new special series is just around the corner!
The first of the four Adventure Time: Distant Lands specials, “BMO,” has dropped its first trailer today, May 9, which shows the titular character BMO embarking on an epic sci-fi adventure to restore the peace in an alien world with the help of a humanoid rabbit and a one-eyed shapeshifting thing.

“BMO” will be released exclusively on HBO Max. A release date has yet to be announced.
Adventure Time was created by Pendleton Ward for Cartoon Network in 2010. The show followed the adventures of Jake the Dog and Finn the Human as they navigate the post-apocalyptic and magical Land of Ooo. Despite being aimed at children, it has also become popular with teenagers and adults. The show has won eight Emmy Awards before it ended in 2018.
