Voters’ Registration Satellite: Exercise Your Right to Vote, Register!

Voting is both a right and a responsibility of every citizen. Recognizing this, the University of the Philippines Political Society (UP POLSCi), in partnership with the Commission on Elections, will be setting up a voter registration satellite in Barangay Pinyahan Barangay Hall this coming June 6 and 8, from 8 am to 5 pm. By bringing the registration site closer to the residents, the process will be made more appealing and convenient, especially for the first time voters in 2016. There will also be talks and leaflets to stress the importance of clean and honest elections. Through this activity, the UP POLSCi hopes to increase voter turnout and emphasize the need for contemplation and vigilance during elections.
