Viy Cortez took to social media to talk about her fitness journey, especially since many netizens have been asking her how she got in shape quickly after giving birth to her son Kidlat.
She happily shared that from 94 kilograms, she currently weighs 60 kilograms, which she achieved by removing rice from her diet and reducing her intake of unhealthy food.
“From 94klo [kilos] pagkapanganak naging 60klo [kilos] na ko dahil sa pag tanggal ng rice pati pag babawas na din nga mga masasamang pagkain at pag inom ng luxeslim [slimming drink] (tipong nakain sila ng lomi tapos ako nakatitig lang),” [sic] she said.
The social media influencer emphasized that she’s exercising more often and has been going to the gym for four days. She added, “Plus sumusubok din ako mag tennis ngayon. Pero nag aaral pa ko.”
Cortez also reminded her followers of the importance of maintaining diet discipline and persistence for effective results. Then, she addressed comments about her undergoing liposuction, “Nagpa-lipo ba ako? Hindi pa sa ngayon pag naka tatlo[ng] anak na ko.”
She shared that regularly taking a healthy, slimming drink helped her in her fitness journey. “Dahil nawalan po ako ng gana kumain, nakaya ko mag tanggal ng rice (galing ako sa pagpapadede kaya ko umubos isang kaldero noon),” she continued.
The 27-year-old clarified that anyone can still get fit, even without a slimming drink, as long as they consistently reduce their food intake and exercise.
She concluded, “Gagawa din ako ng vlog about sa pag papapayat ko abangan nyo na lang.” Meanwhile, in the comments, she said she’s trying diet meals to maintain her calorie count of 1,500 per day.
She also wrote a playful response to comments about her undergoing liposuction, “Sobrang dami ko nakikita na sinabi nagpalipo ako. Di ko alam kung ma ta-touch ako o mabwibwisit eh hahahah.”
