Viola Davis to Lead Thriller Film “G20”

Viola Davis is set to headline the much-awaited action thriller film G20.

The Academy Award winner will be playing the role of U.S. President Danielle Sutton, who became the number one target after the G20 summit came under siege.

“After evading capture by the attackers, she must outsmart the enemy to protect her family, defend her country, and safeguard world leaders in this action-packed thrill ride,” it read according to the official press site.

The film also stars Anthony Anderson, Marsai Martin, Ramón Rodríguez, Douglas Hodge, Elizabeth Marvel, Sabrina Impacciatore, Christopher Farrar, and Antony Starr.

Viola Davis is a multi-award-winning actress and producer who is best known for her lead role in the legal drama series How to Get Away With Murder.

G20 is scheduled for global release on Prime Video on April 10, 2025.
