Set at the foothills of the Sierra Madre Mountains is a hidden gem that abounds with picture-perfect opportunities. This is the ancestral house of the Liamzon family of Rodriguez (formerly Montalban) since 1969. Villa Milagros, as we can call it, has been recently restored in hopes that the timeless splendor of The Mansion and its lush gardens can be enjoyed by generations to come.
The mansion’s facade of precast moldings reflects the style of mid-century Philippine architecture. There is a lot of natural light that filters into the interiors through the large windows and balconies. This makes for very good conditions for shoots.
A lot of history is still in place—like the Steinway grand piano, furniture made by House of Puyat (the most sought after furniture maker of the time), Arte Espanol garden sets, a porcelein chandelier, and furniture shipped from Spain and travels to Europe of “Nanay & Tatay” (Isidoro Liamzon and Ma. Milagros Liamzon who had 11 children and over 34 grandchildren).
The restoration in 2015 has made the venue fit for a wedding, an engagement shoot, or music video. The Villa’s classic, elegant, and timeless look can match any desired theme. Since every event or shoot is different, Villa Milagros works with you to make optimum use of the property.
Two outdoor gardens, Delia’s Garden and Cristina’s Garden, can serve special events with crowds larger than 100. Both gardens are fully landscaped and have spectacular views of The Mansion.
The North Wing is a brand-new, all-weather events hall that can fit up to 300 guests. Built in the same style and spirit of The Mansion, the North Wing serves as an extension on the Liamzon’s family ancestral home.
For smaller and more intimate events, the Liamzon Hall, an oval-shaped room flanked by beautiful outdoor terraces can accommodate 35. The dining room may also be used for private dinners.
Chito’s Garden, on the other hand, is a casual outdoor area that suits gatherings of up to 40 people. It is a paved area surrounded by old-age trees.
Banquets by VS&F is the preferred caterer of Villa Milagros. It is a full-scale contemporary catering service that provides delectable food, timeless setup, and professional hospitality services. Banquets combines VS&F Classic Food International’s expertise and the vision of Joyce Abesamis—a professional chef graduate from the Ducasse Institute Philippines of Enderun Colleges.
