I feel blessed and inspired to write today, so I’ve decided to tell you all about one of our all-time favorite places ever to keep the good vibes flowing.

Despite the countless places we’ve visited in our misadventures, with all the luxurious experiences, modern amenities and variety of cuisines we get to try regularly, Vieux Chalet remains to have its distinct charm which is simply incomparable to others. 

Once you  feel the vibe of this place, it’s impossible for you not to come back. If you appreciate romance, family bonding, artsy stuff, crafts, simple pleasures, pets and food prepared with love, then Vieux Chalet is perfect for you!

 

 A few weeks ago, we were blessed once again with the time and opportunity to come home to Vieux Chalet. Yeah, Vieux Chalet is more like a home to us, because they always make us feel welcome and treat us like family. Whenever we arrive, Sir Rico would always be there in front to greet us with all arms wide open and his massive smile! So wonderful!

2 years ago, I fell in-love with this room and it sure felt great to stay here again. This room is truly beyond industry standards. There is no other room like this in the world, making it so priceless and special – a result of creativity and love.

One of the things I look forward to whenever at Vieux Chalet would be the spectacular sunset. If you’re used to seeing this at Manila Bay, then you must experience it here as well! I swear!

We were just so glad to be there that we didn’t mind the power interruption. Normally, people would surely complain and go berserk when they’re about to have dinner and the lights suddenly go off…. but as for us, we both knew it was another experience to appreciate and savor as unforgettable moments usually happen in unexpected circumstances.   

For the first time, we were able to experience a genuine candlelight dinner as we had no choice! We were served with our favorite Farmer’s Soup, salad, Smoked Pork Chops with Cafe de Paris and Baked Fish ala Sussana plus servings of wine. We could hardly see the food due to lack of light, but we all enjoyed them nonetheless as they tasted fantastic as always! It was one of the most romantic dinners for me!

After a while, when the electricity came, our first reaction was, “awwww sayang!!” hehehe Our candlelight dinner may have been interrupted but it didn’t hinder us from enjoying the  evening. The resto’s mood was so nice that night!

After dinner, you may either swim in their pool or enjoy a relaxing bubble bath in the Jacuzzi and sauna.

If you’re the romantic type, I suggest you surprise your significant other with a romantic bubble bath set-up. Their staff will gladly set-up a romantic mood by lighting candles and rose petals all over the place. *sigh*

Then as we were about to sleep, we were further pampered with milk and cookies. Sweet!!! We felt like kids again!

 

 

The next morning……

We woke up to a lovely cool morning such as this! =)

We requested to have our breakfast by the pool this time and it was gorgeous! I believe we ate breakfast for 3 hours! lols

After that 3 hour breakfast, we had the chance to relax and experience the peace which surrounded the place.

It sure was nice to see the newly built Play House to keep the kids busy and creative!

 If you enjoy afternoon teas, Vieux Chalet would be one of the best places to experience it…

A perfect companion while reading your favorite book or while having quality “me time”

Or if you just feel like sleeping more, you may do so by all means. Also, we highly suggest you bring dvds if you want to have a movie marathon in  your room. Dvds are also available upon request.
