Vibe with UPLB SJDC as they revive the lost spark with Revive-Revibe, an online dance series

The official hip hop dance varsity of the University of the Philippines Los Baños, UPLB Street Jazz Dance Company (UPLB) has officially announced the launch of its production, Revive-Revibe, an online dance series last March 13 via the company’s official social media accounts.

When in Manila

Revive-Revibe, with five (5) episodes and all songs in Original Pilipino Music (OPM), mainly features the stories of students, presenting different situations, issues, and experiences they went through, and are currently going through, in this pandemic. Each episode is a celebration and recognition of the struggles and efforts by everyone during this difficult time. For this series, the group went beyond their lengths and explored more multimedia forms of art in order to showcase their dancing and creativity under a new light. Through that, this production aims to deliver hope and revive the spark lost along the way.

The introductory episode was released last April 4, 2021, followed by the first and second episodes which were released on April 9, 2021 and April 16, 2021 respectively. For the third and final episodes, the releases will be on the last two Fridays of the month.

This production is co-presented by Creative Athlete, Ospital ng Imus: City of Imus Molecular Laboratory, and Vero&Yvs. It is free and all the episodes can be accessed through the UPLB Street Jazz Dance Company’s official Facebook page.
