URBN Bar and Kitchen: Eat, Drink and Be Merry

 

WhenInManila and looking for a bar restaurant that serves food as good as their drinks, you might have heard about URBN BAR AND KITCHEN. This is the “IT” place to be right now and if you haven’t been here yet, then I highly suggest you come over ASAP. Bring your friends, chillax and BE MERRY 😀

URBN Bar and Kitchen:  Vintage Industrial Look

The whole place has that “vintage industrial” vibe that feels like you’re meeting up with the mafia. Classic Edison Bulb string lights hanging loosely that serves as a decor and provide mood lighting for guests to enjoy their lovely dinner with jazz music on the background. But then again, this whole place morphs into a whole new world come late night time. The crowd turns into party mode right after. URBN Bar and Kitchen have different themed nights like Hip-Hop Wednesday, Social Collective Thursday and live DJs every weekend.

Let me share with you some of URBN Bar and Kitchen’s delectable dishes:

Classic Caesar Salad (Php 235)

Poached free range eggs, crispy bacon, croutons and crisp greens with creamy Caesar dressing

URBN Bar and Kitchen MUST TRY: Manchego Souffle (Php 395)

The softest  and moistest cheese souffle with crispy Jamon Serrano and truffle cream sauce

(please allow 20 minutes to serve)

It was pure love in every bite.

 Mac and Choreese (Php 290)

URBN Bar and Kitchen’s take on mac & cheese with a twist: macaroni, chorizo, with 3 special cheeses. This is not just a kids’ favorite but mommies, daddies, aunties and uncles will be raving about this, too!

Curried Shrimp Burger (Php 480)

Brioche bun, curry mayonnaise, romaine lettuce, tomato with onion rings on the side

If shrimp burgers can be this good, then I would want to be a Pescetarian from now on! 

 

Okay fine, I take it back. Just look at this juicy Australian Rack of Lamb:

…with herb and horseradish crust, roasted pumpkin and garlic yogurt sauce.

Just look at that!!! OMG! It was soooo good. I’m sorry I even thought of giving you up, dear meat.

 Crispy Duck Leg with mushroom risotto, braised carrots and red wine jus

The crispy duck leg was absolutely delightful to eat – pleasing to the eyes, crispy-liscious skin, tender and flavorful meat, matched with creamy and very filling risotto.

 

But wait, no matter how full we were, we cannot just leave without ever having tasted URBN BAR and KITCHEN’s famous desserts:

UBRN’s Cheesecake    |   Chocolate Marquise

Both desserts brought happiness but what really was worth fighting for was URBN Bar and Kitchen’s SALTED CARAMEL CHEESECAKE.

It was a wonderful marriage of cheesecake and the local bakery’s egg tart. Imagine that!

I guarantee you this: it is worth every single calorie!!!
