Health, wellness, and charity come together in one fun-filled Sunday morning with Urban Ashram Yoga’s Urban Yoga 2016.
As the premier center for the study of yoga in the Philippines, Urban Ashram Yoga encourages their students to further reap the benefits of the practice by integrating it into their lives on and off the mat. On Sunday, 17 April 2016, Urban Ashram Yoga, together with Champion Philippines and Gatorade Philippines, will celebrate Urban Yoga 2016– the biggest gathering of Urban Yogis in the metro. From 8:00 AM to 12:00 NN in the Ayala Triangle Gardens, Urban Ashram Yoga will conduct various yoga classes, featuring the much-anticipated musical vinyasa class with international teacher Joan Hyman.
With over twenty years of experience leading retreats, trainings, and workshops worldwide, fifteen of which as a distinguished YogaWorks senior teacher, Joan Hyman has conducted several training sessions in the Philippines. She is back to give Manila a taste of her musical yoga classes– her specialty as the Director for Teacher Trainings of Wanderlust, a world-famous series of yoga festivals that are all-out celebrations of mindful living.
Urban Ashram Yoga invites the wellness community to take part in the best yoga event of the year. Energize with the Morning Vinyasa class, come together with Community Yoga, master your breath with Pranayama, and groove with Urban Yoga as a live DJ plays this coming Sunday, 17 April 2016, starting at 8:00 AM in the Ayala Triangle Gardens. Do good for your body and your soul as this wellness event is for the benefit of Mano Amiga Pilipinas, a nonprofit school that provides underprivileged families access to international quality education, development services, and other necessary support to uplift their lives and transform communities.
