Second star to the right and straight on ’til morning!
Disney just found who it will cast as Peter Pan and Wendy Darling in this new retelling of the beloved classic about the boy who never grew up.
The chosen stars were revealed in an exclusive interview with Variety. Wendy will be played by newcomer Ever Anderson, who is set to play the younger version of Natasha Romanoff in the upcoming Black Widow film, while Peter will be played by Alexander Molony, who has starred in Disney Junior series Claude and Sky One series The Reluctant Landlord.
Shooting officially begins this summer in Canada. Pete’s Dragon director David Lowery will helm the film. Jim Whitaker will be on board as the producer.
It has yet to be known when this Peter Pan remake will be released but it’s been confirmed that it will have a theatrical premiere.
