The UP University Job Fair (UPUJF), an annual project of the UP Office of Counseling and Guidance in partnership with the UP University Student Council, UP Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants, and UP Advertising Core, is a widely-anticipated event that aims to provide job and internship opportunities for UP students across all colleges. It’s the biggest job fair in the University!
#ShapedToServe – This year, with the theme Shaped To Serve, UP UJF aims to be the helping hand of all Iskolars ng Bayan who are currently stuck in this stage of transition in their lives. With our belief that their experiences during their stay in the university shaped them to be the promising individuals that they are today, UP UJF is here to help actualize their purpose and goals in life–and that is to translate one’s learnings and experiences into service to the country. Here are the activities lined-up for all graduating UP students:
MARCH IS UJF MONTH (March 28-31) – The annual University Job Fair will serve as the main event of the semester-long program of activities aimed at helping the students prepare for the next stage in their lives. It will house various companies and institutions coming from a wide array of work options: government and public service, professional firms, and various corporate entities. Representatives from established companies will be present, so if you are interested, don’t forget to visit the UP Bahay ng Alumni during this week to inquire about employment or internship opportunities. Prepare to submit copies of your résumé as well.
Culminating Mixer (March 31) – As a culmination of the semester-long UJF endeavors, a Culminating Mixer will be held, which will serve as a gathering of the top-performing students from the various colleges of the university. The UJF companies are invited to take part in the said event as it will provide a mutual opportunity for them and the students to directly network and interact with each other.
