UP Sandigan, in its vision of contributing to the development of exemplary young leaders for the country, brings you their third annual leadership summit, “INTROSPECTIVE: Expanding Interpersonal Relations Through Exploring Intrapersonal Leadership” to be held on November 13, 2016, from 8 am to 5 pm at the University of the Philippines College of Engineering Theatre, Roces St., Diliman, Quezon City.
The organization, since its institution, has been conducting leadership trainings for its members. In 2013 however, the organization decided to hold a leadership summit open to the public. Hence, Epic F.A.I.L.: Filipino Altruism in Leadership was held in 2013 and 2014, with over 200 student leaders from all over the country. The summit tackled unconventional fields of leadership and has re-defined its concept as not restricted to people with officially recognized positions in organizations and councils.
INTROSPECTIVE, the third installment, deviates from the usual formula of leadership talks or trainings by focusing on intrapersonal or self-leadership as a means of discovering your leadership style. Students from all over the country are given the opportunity to assess their personalities and leadership signatures through the talks of well-versed speakers on self-leadership such as the best-selling author of “YOUnique: Understanding Others by Understanding You”, entrepreneur and motivational speaker Mr. Jayson Lo, and consultant at Inspire Leadership Consultancy and member of the American Society for Training and Development Mr. ArdyAbello among the lineup of speakers. Other speakers will be revealed before the event through the Facebook page and Twitter account of INTROSPECTIVE 2016.
UP Sandigan, established on January 1989, is the premier youth organization of the University of the Philippines College of Pharmacy. The organization was accredited by the National Youth Commission in 2007 and was awarded one of the Ten Accomplished Youth Organizations (TAYO) the same year.
