UP-PGH Genetics Patients Celebrate Christmas with Hope and Community

The UP Philippine General Hospital Dietary Hall was filled with warmth, joy, and the true spirit of Christmas during the Genetics Patients’ Christmas Party held on December 17, 2025, with the theme “I Am In for Hope Giving.”

The celebration brought together 30 genetics patients and their families, creating a meaningful space for connection, encouragement, and shared hope. The event highlighted the importance of compassion and community support in the lives of individuals and families with genetic conditions.

Participants enjoyed a festive program that included simple games, shared meals, a photo booth, and gift-giving. The activity was designed to foster togetherness and uplift spirits. The presence of family members reinforced the message that hope grows stronger when shared, reflecting the heart of the event’s theme.

This meaningful celebration was made possible through the generous sponsorship of J.CO and Liwayway Marketing Corporation, whose support helped bring smiles and joy to the patients and their loved ones. Their contribution played a vital role in making the event memorable and impactful.

The organizers also recognized the private sponsors whose generosity and commitment played a vital role in making the event a memorable celebration of hope, community, and togetherness.

More than a holiday gathering, the Genetics Patients’ Christmas Party served as a reminder of UP-PGH’s commitment to holistic, patient-centered care, addressing not only medical needs but also the emotional and social well-being of those it serves.

As the season of giving continues, the Genetics Service extends its heartfelt gratitude to all partners, families, and supporters who joined in spreading hope and kindness. Truly, everyone present was “in” for hope giving.
