UP Manila Chorale 9th European Tour: Argentum Paglalayag 2018

Sixteen cities. Nine countries. Sixty days.

The University of the Philippines Manila Chorale will once again embark on a journey across nine different countries as they represent the Philippines in the 55th edition of the prestigious International Competition of Choral Singing in Spittal, Austria.

To commence this exciting journey, The UP Manila Chorale presents UP MANILA CHORALE 9TH EUROPEAN TOUR: Argentum Paglalayag 2018. This will be held on May 11, 2018, Friday, 7:30 PM at St. Cecilia’s Hall, St. Scholastica’s College Manila. Tickets are priced at P350 (Orchestra) and P280 (Balcony) with discounts for students, senior citizens, and PWDs.

 The UP Manila Chorale (UPMC) is the multi-awarded official performing group for choral music of the University of the Philippines Manila, presently led by its music director, Emmanuel de Leon Jr., MM. The group aims to embody and represent the University locally and internationally through the art of choral music, serving as ambassadors of cultural goodwill by being the “Voice of UP Manila to the World.”

The UPMC 9th European Tour will be for the benefit of education of street children in the Philippines through the Virlanie Foundation. Part of the proceeds from the European Tour will be given to the Virlanie Foundation to help give every child a chance for education.
