UP placed 374th this year, the only Philippine university to make it to the list.
The university made a jump from last year, when it fell into the 401-410 bracket.

UP reportedly improved its mark in three metrics: academic reputation, faculty-student ratio, and international faculty ratio.

Three other universities were published in this year’s ranking, with Ateneo De Manila University in the 501-550 bracket, De La Salle University and University of Santo Tomas in the 701+ bracket.
De La Salle was hailed as the Philippine university with the most impactful researchers as determined by citations per faculty and lone Philippine university to improve its rank for employer reputation.
