UP ETC Highlights Electoral Participation for Its 43rd Year

With the coming national elections and its celebration of the 43rd year of founding, UP Economics Towards Consciousness (UP ETC) welcomes the year by launching the organization’s flagship event Consciousness Month 2022 held this February to feature the role of electoral participation in forging the country’s future.

Continuing the all-digital event setup, this year’s theme The Elections Agenda: Shaping the Nation’s Development Through Electoral Participation seeks to raise the discourse on the importance of electoral participation and processes in fostering social and political change for national development which is conducted via Zoom and live-streamed in Facebook.

The CM 2022 will roll out by commencing Kapekonomiya on February 19 with the topic The Role of Elections in Forwarding Inclusive Development, followed by the fun-filled three-day, from February 26 to 28, event Youth in Action (YIA) on the topics of Utilizing the Freedom of Information (FOI) bill in Youth Election Campaigns and Advocacies and The Role of Data Analytics in Elections, and Workshop on Advocacy Campaigning, open to all nationwide.
