Philippines represent!!
UPeepz, a hip-hop dance crew from the University of the Philippines, indeed proved their supremacy as they competed against 150 crew from all over the world and emerged as the champs of the 2015 World Supremacy Battlegrounds, “the biggest and most prestigious street dance competition in the Southern Hemisphere” in Australia over the weekend!
The World Supremacy Battlegrounds in Brisbane saw different dance groups hailing from all over Asia, as well as other countries such as Mexico, Ecuador, South Africa and Canada, according to local reports.
According to the UPeepz’ official Facebook page, the crew is a professional dance crew and open student organization based in the College of Human Kinetics in UP Diliman. While their members are mostly from UP, they have also expanded membership to students from other universities, yet still ultimately represent UP.
