This Astronomy Org is Holding a Livestreaming Event to Watch the Blue Moon Tonight

In case you missed it, a Blue Moon is happening tonight to cap off the month of October.

And to commemorate the event and to allow us to view it in the comfort of our own homes, the University of the Philippines Astronomical Society is launching a Livestream on its Facebook page!

The livestream will begin at 8 PM until 10 PM.

“Tonight, celebrate Halloween with us as we live stream this year’s Blue Moon, from 8PM to 10PM. With music by Dagandangerous,” the post read. “This event only happens once in a blue moon, don’t miss it.”

Contrary to its name, Blue Moons aren’t actually blue in color but is what second full moons of a month are called because they don’t happen very often.

Are you excited for this? Let us know in the comments!
