UP ACES Says, Onwards, Future Civil Engineers!

Look Forward. Think Forward. Step Forward. The UP Association of Civil Engineering Students (UP ACES) launches the National Civil Engineering Webinar Series 2020 (NCEWS 2020), featuring nation-building and resiliency the engineering way. 

The UP ACES is the oldest and most prestigious Civil Engineering organization founded in the University of the Philippines-Diliman, known for organizing the annual National Civil Engineering Summit as one of its biggest events. With the new normal, UP ACES aims to reach out virtually to the aspiring Civil Engineers and take part in establishing resilience, demanding accessibility, and calling for change—together. 

This year, chug along as NCEWS 2020 exhibits a five-day discourse on disaster management, the role of construction in health and safety, social mobility and transportation adjustments, and the pandemic’s environmental impacts with the theme, Way Forward: Engineered. The participants will be informed, inspired, and empowered. And in return, they will extend their hands forward, to help and support the building blocks of the construction industry: the construction workers. The proceeds of the event will be given to the National Union of Building and Construction Workers as an assistance amidst the crisis. 

Together, we will build. Together, we will endure. Together, we will pave the Way Forward: Engineered.
