UE-Cal, DLSU-M dominate 4th Seed Cup; best 28 other teams all over NCR

Last March 21,2021, the 4th Seed Cup was conquered by Team Pan de Pat ala Pim from UE-Cal, with Team Seedlings from DLSU-M and Team Donatos from UE-Cal emerging as 1st and 2nd runners-up, respectively. Team Pan de Pat ala Pim’s beneficiary of choice, San Lorenzo Ruiz Home for the Elderly, will be receiving Php 20,000 in cash and in kind, including goods from Universal Robina Corporation (URC). Meanwhile, all winners will be receiving medals, plaques, cash prizes, cryptocurrency books from IOL Inc., CPA review and test bank vouchers from iCPA,  and discount vouchers from MNBT apparel.

The Seed Cup is NFJPIA’s annual quiz bee for a cause which aims to challenge its participants’ knowledge on different accounting subjects while giving them the opportunity to give back to the community. On its 4th year, the event marked a milestone for NFJPIA – NCR as it gathered the most number of participants in Seed Cup history — a  total of 93 accounting students from all over the metro, with 31 teams who vied for the grand prize which will be donated to their chosen beneficiary. 

 

This year’s Seed Cup, “Chlorokinesis: All Bets are Off,” was held by The National Federation of Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants – National Capital Region (NFJPIA-NCR), in partnership with KPMG R.G. Manabat & Co, and hosted by the University of the Philippines Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (UP-JPIA).
