After the whole fuss over Uber cars potentially being apprehended by August 20 if Uber is not accredited as a Transportation Network Company (TNC) by that date, and the hullabaloo over the “premium taxis”, there’s a light at the end of the tunnel!!
Uber is NOW duly accredited by the LTFRB as a TNC!
The announcement came today, August 19, after the LTFRB posted a copy of the accreditation certificate on their Twitter page.
I guess this means it’s business as usual for Uber! That, and helping their drivers with securing proper accreditation for smooth rides for everyone!
