Metro Manila has been placed in general community quarantine (GCQ) starting today, June 1.

This means that more relaxed measures especially regarding travel are now implemented to restart the economy.

Still, the government urged the nation not to put to waste what has been started over the past months by continuing to observe health precautions including wearing of a face mask and safe distancing in public.

With GCQ, it is possible that people can travel outside of the National Capital Region (NCR) especially for essential reasons.
