Guess success truly runs in the blood!
With the recent release of results of the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Licensure Examination, it has also been revealed that the top 1 notchers – Vianca Pearl Amores and Marianito Jesus del Rio – who hail from University of San Carlos in Cebu City, are actually second cousins, as reported by Cebu Daily News.
Both scored a rating of 92.67% that allowed them to secure first place in the Licensure Examination.
As revealed on their social media accounts, Amores graduated Summa Cum Laude while del Rio graduated Magna Cum Laude, both majoring in Accountancy.
University of San Carlos served as the Top Performing School at 94.
29% passing rate, while De La Salle University – Manila and Ateneo de Naga University came right behind at 85.87% and 80.39%, respectively, according to Summit Express.
