Have you watched the reality TV dating game show ‘Too Hot to Handle’ on Netflix yet? If you haven’t, you should. The premise of the show is pretty simple. They bring together a bunch of clueless fuckboys and fuckgirls on an island; and then tell them once they get there that they aren’t allowed to kiss, have sex, or even masturbate while they’re there. Obviously, hormones go wild… but also: real relationships are built.

Which ‘Too Hot Too Handle’ Couples are Still Going Strong?
Rhonda and Sharron
Hands down the cheesiest, were-they-really-not-relationship-type-people-before-the-show couple were Rhonda Paul and Sharron Townsend. These two were kissing before the rules were even put into place! Things eventually took a turn and they ended up in a pretty serious relationship. Rhonda even did a video call with her son during the show, so that Sharron could virtually meet him. (The kid didn’t seem that impressed, to be honest.)
As strong as their connection may have seemed on-screen, though, it turns out Sharrhonda is no more. Apparently, there were long distance issues and family issues, and they both decided they were simply better off as friends.
Francesca and Harry
The couple who was seemingly only on the show to break the rules and cause some drama, we never would have guessed that Francesca Farago and Harry Jowsey would even end up together during the show. They proved us wrong, though! They even proved us wrong in that last challenge where they had to sleep in a room together without touching each other in any way.
While things were rocky between the two after the show, they have apparently found their way back together again. In fact, Harry says they are in a great place and Fran is already making plans to move to Australia to be with Harry permanently. Yes, they plan on getting married, folks! Can you believe it? (I can’t, to be honest… but I’m happy for them.)
David and Lydia
David Birstwistle was my personal favorite on ‘Too Hot to Handle’. He won me over when he was ‘staring into Rhonda’s soul’ and started crying. Too cute! Obviously, I rooted hard for him to get serious with someone; but although he started building a connection with newbie member Lydia Clyma towards the end of the show, it doesn’t look like it turned into anything serious.
In fact, after the show, rumors say Lydia spent a lot of time with Bryce. As it turns out, both David and Lydia are single at the moment. However, David’s life looks like it has been going well. He is working as a personal trainer in London and has a fitness and nutrition company called Endeavor Life. He also says he has changed his dating ways – and that is honestly all I wanted to hear.
Bryce and Nicole
Wait… whaaaaat?!? I know, right? The idea of Bryce Hirschberg and Nicole O’Brien getting together was so far-fetched that we couldn’t even find photos of them together on the Internet. Bryce spent a lot of his time on ‘Too Hot to Handle’ flirting with Chloe and we didn’t really see him hitting on anyone else.
Well, it turns out the two bonded during a post-filming cast reunion, and they have been dating long distance for over a year now. How they’re surviving the distance? FaceTime, of course! They also visit one another whenever they can with Nicole having plans of visiting Bryce later this year… provided thing clear up with COVID-19, that is.
