Tom Hanks and James Corden do Carpool Karaoke on a School Bus!

Tom Hanks James Corden Carpool Karaoke

One of our favorite segments online is James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke, where he invites famous singers to sing along with them while on a carpool. Apart from watching them perform their hits, we learn so much about them.

We get to see something different in the latest edition of Carpool Karaoke. Here, we see Corden being picked up… by award-winning actor Tom Hanks… in a school bus.

Watch the segment, which starts in the 33-minute mark:

The segment is part of XQ Super School Live, a TV special that aims to invite the public to help rethink the future of American high schools. Together, Corden and Hanks sang Kim Wilde’s “Kids in America” before being joined a group of students.

XQ Super School Live was a star-studded event, with Viola Davis, Common, J.J. Abrams, Samuel L. Jackson, DJ Khaled, Mahershala Ali, U2, Justin Timberlake, Chance the Rapper, Kelly Clarkson, Lin-Manuel Miranda and Jennifer Hudson making appearances in the video.

The show closed with a powerful finale of U2 performing the Beatles’ “Come Together.” Reggie Watts, Sheryl Crow, and Sheila E. also joined the performance.
