Today We Learned That This Actress From “The Haunting of Bly Manor” Also Voices Peppa Pig

In today’s crossover event we didn’t expect, we just learned that The Haunting of Bly Manor‘s Amelie Bea Smith also voices Peppa Pig.

Smith has voiced the iconic pig throughout the year. Previously, Peppa Pig was voiced by Lily Snowden-Fine (2004), Cecily Bloom (2006 to 2007), and Harley Bird (2007 to 2019).

Netflix Philippines has also confirmed the news on Twitter, saying, “PSA: Amelie Bea Smith is also the voice of Peppa Pig So close your eyes while watching The Haunting of Bly Manor to get a perfectly splendid Peppa Pig episode.”

In The Haunting of Bly Manor, the child actress plays Flora, the youngest Wingrave sister.

The Netflix series follows a young governess who is hired to look after a man’s niece and nephew at the family country house. When she moves into the Bly estate, she “begins to see apparitions that proceed to haunt the premises.”

The show is a follow-up series to The Haunting of Hill House, another Netflix title that has received critical acclaim for its acting, directing, and production. Bly Manor was released just earlier this month but it has received good reviews, with Rotten Tomatoes saying that it has “plenty of spooky tricks inside its haunted halls and a strong sense of heart.”

Victoria Pedretti, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Henry Thomas, Kate Siegel, and Carla Gugino, who appeared in Hill House, are back in Bly Manor in different roles.
