Okay, so it’s no secret that Hollywood doesn’t pay much attention to an actor’s age. A good example is putting people in their 20’s and 30’s to play teens. And it’s been happening for a while. If you’re old enough to have seen the first Scary Movie, Lochlyn Munro’s character Greg says, “They’d cast people in their late 20’s or early 30’s to play us.” They’re high school students in the movie.
It’s also happened in other movies. In Alexander, Angelina Jolie plays Colin Farrell’s mother even if they’re just a year apart in real life. Keira Knightley and Thomas Brodie-Sangster are five years apart in Love Actually, but Knightley plays a newlywed while Brodie-Sangster plays a young boy. It’s mind-boggling how often it happens.
The latest we discovered is that John Cena and Jason Earles from Hannah Montana are the same age. The former wrestler and actor made a cameo on the Disney show, where Earles plays Jackson Stewart, Miley Cyrus’s brother. He is a teenager there but he was 29 in real life, while Cyrus was 14! Wild.

Now, Earles is 43 years old. Imagine having a youthful-looking face that will make you pass off as a teenager. As Filipinos would say, sana all.
