Three Supermoons will be seen before the year ends!
As 2016 winds down, this will occur again on November 14 and December 14.
Supermoons occur when the moon is within its 90 per cent closest range of Earth, according to NASA.
The term simply means a moon is closer than normal to earth, but there’s a distinction between a large moon and a supermoon.
