Thoughts on APEC 2015: “If we change the attitude, we can change the country.”

The APEC 2015 Summit held in Manila has been said to inconvenience a lot of people in the metro.

With the implementation of APEC Lanes, a huge traffic jam was experienced in the country’s capital on Monday and Tuesday. Work and classes were suspended on Wednesday and Thursday to lessen the traffic woes on the actual dates of the conference. However, traffic jam is expected when work and classes resume on Friday.

Due to this, many people have taken to social media their frustrations on this, blaming mostly the government about the inconveniences. However, one netizen has a different thought and pointed out that the government may not be the sole entity to blame, but we, Filipinos, have a responsibility on this as well.
