If there is one thing that the pandemic has taught me, it’s the importance of family.
Since the lockdown, many parents have been so anxious to make their families safe and to continue to provide for them. As days go by, we all have learned to adapt with the changes that the pandemic brought about. One of the changes I did during the pandemic is making sure to preserve the memories I do with my family. Since my primary phone is full and doesn’t have fancy features, I thought of getting a new mobile phone. Luckily, I saw a post by my good friend Niccolo Cosme and the photos he took with a smartphone.
Niccolo Cosme used a TECNO CAMON 17 Pro to take photos of Rose Vega who is known for her reality TV show entitled “90 Day Fiance”. I zoomed in on photos and it looked like it was taken with a DSLR. Upon research, I also saw that Direk Paul Soriano was raving about the smartphone and its 4K HD video recording capabilities. It is like the world had conspired for me to check it out, so I did.
I didn’t want to spend too much but I wanted a smartphone that would give the best value for money. I wanted to spend less than Php10,000 and the TECNO CAMON 17 Pro costs only Php9,990.
The TECNO CAMON 17 PRO has a 48MP Ultra Clear Selfie Camera and 64MP Ultra Clear Quad Camera. It also has a front camera with dual flash and the rear camera has quad flash.
The TECNO CAMON 17 PRO has an ultra pro video camera which makes it perfect for your film maker dreams. It has the Cinema Master for shooting fast moving objects and has 4k time lapse to capture beautiful sunrises and sunsets. It also has an auto level that sets up shooting speed based on the length of recording.
Bokeh is a feature that is usually for photography but TECNO CAMON 17 PRO also offers the bokeh effect for videos. It is the perfect mode to allow the main subject to stand out. There is also a Night Video Portrait so you can record beautiful videos even in a darker environment. Night video allows for the night to be in high resolution, purer picture quality, and greater clarity for portraits.
I tried taking photos of different subjects during our family trip to the village park and I was amazed at how clear the photos were, whether for landscape, portrait or even macro.
Though my 2-year old has been moving around, I was still able to capture clear and beautiful photos using the TECNO CAMON 17. I didn’t have to adjust colors or use any filters. I just used the Ultra HD or Portrait modes and the pictures were perfect.
The Ultra HD mode of the camera has options for 64MP or 108MP which is the phone’s Magic Pixel. It is an ideal shooting mode for grand sceneries, special occasions and when you want to keep special memories.
The Magic Pixel captures every single detail of your subject including hair strands, and in our case, even the popcorn stuck in between my daughter’s teeth.
It also has a 6.8 Dot-in, 90Hz FHD+Display which is perfect to see the details of each video you record. It also has dual speakers surround sound for your playbacks.
You also don’t have to worry with your mobile phone giving up on you as the TECNO CAMON 17 PRO that runs on a 5000mAh and has a 33W flash charge.
Aside from TECNO’s collaboration with Direk Paul Soriano, they also collaborated with photographers Andrea Beluda, Niccolo Cosme, and Noel Guevara, and celebrities Andrea Brillantes, Donnalyn Bartolome, Jillian Ward, and Mika Salamanca.
TECNO also recently launched Chris Evans as their new ambassador because whether you are a celebrity, vlogger, photographer or filmmaker, the TECNO CAMON 17 PRO is the smartphone for you.
